During a ceremony on Sept. 17, the Institute for Ethical Leadership honored newly retired professor Donald McCabe by announcing the creation of an award for academic integrity in his name. McCabe is the first recipient of the award. In the future, it will be given annually to a member of the student body, faculty or staff who promotes academic integrity at Rutgers Business School.
Professor Donald McCabe collected a few different nicknames during the course of a career that made him an expert on academic integrity. "Dr. Ethics” was one. "Founding Father” was another.
