The Society for the Study of Social Problems gives the C. Wright Mills Award to a book that critically addresses an issue of contemporary public importance. "The American Non-Dilemma" also was the runner up for the Academy of Management’s George R. Terry Award earlier this month, and it won the American Sociological Association’s Section on Inequality, Poverty and Mobility book award for 2014.
Rutgers Business School professor Nancy DiTomaso’s provocative book The American Non-Dilemma: Racial Inequality without Racism hasreceived the 2014 C. Wright Mills Award from the Society for the Study of Social Problems.
