The International Warehousing and Logistics Association awarded their most prestigious 2012 IWLA Distinguished Service and Leadership Award to Dr. Dale S. Rogers, who is a professor of Logistics and Supply Chain Management and Co-Director of the Center for Supply Chain Management at Rutgers University. He is the first academic to receive this award for his contributions to the progress and growth of the warehousing and logistics industry and his time and expertise assisting in the establishment of the Sustainable Logistics Initiative.
